Detection of Impurities in the Preparation of Sucralose (Heartland Sweeteners)

General Method: Unambiguous identification of purified components via spectroscopy. Development of a method that provides baseline separation of components. Gradient, solvent systems, stationary phases (amine, carbohydrate, C18, etc.). Correlation of retention times with compound identity. Co-injection to confirm separation, identity. UV diode array to establish "fingerprint". Serial dilution to establish sensitivity of method. Periodic standards monitoring machine performance . Runs in triplicate to determine error bars/standard deviation. Reports to customer, storage of samples and documentation according to glp.
